A lecturer, Mr. Tamunotonye Zoe Solomon of the Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, Rumuola, Port Harcourt, has been suspended for three months in connection with the allegation of harassment and exploition of a female student by the Mananagement of the Institution.
A statement by the Registration of the polytechnic Chris A. Woke Esq, said the suspension takes effect from 10th January 2022.
It further stated that the management has also set up an investigative committee to investigate the allegations.
According to the statement, the committee has one month to submit its report to management.
It also stated that the management of the polytechnic was irked by the report in certain section of the media and dissociates itsef completely from the alleged conduct of its staff, Mr. Solomon.
