The chief security officer of the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, Richard Timothy-Jaminiwa, alongside his 23-year-old son, Tola Silas have been reportedly killed by yet-to-be identified gunmen.
It was gathered that the duo were killed in their home around Igwuruta Ali by the hoodlums.
It was learnt from the deceased wife that about 7 gunmen dressed in black attacked her husband as he drove into his home.
She informed that her late son had recently graduated from the University of Port Harcourt.
Mrs Jaminiwa stated that she was taken into a nearby bush by the gunmen after shooting her husband.
She revealed that her husband received multiple threats from individuals opposing his stance against the looting of properties at the Stadium.
The Rivers state Police command is yet comment on the incident.
