Erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP), and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has reacted to comments credited to the Lagos State Chapter of the APC, targeted at disparaging former Transportation Minister, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi and one of the foremost founding fathers of APC

In a statement now circulated across media spaces, titled ‘Rejected Rivers Politician cant Lead Revolt Against Tinubu’s Reelection,’ the party in the state, through its spokesperson, Mogaji Seye Oladejo, reacting to Amaechi’s charge on Nigerians to mobilize massively to unseat the clueless administration of Tinubu in 2027, said Amaechi was merely hallucinating, adding that a politician rejected at home can’t lead a revolt against Tinubu. “You cannot lead a national movement when your own backyard has padlocked the gate against you’, the statement read.

Reacting to the stuff-anti-nonsese, Chief Eze said the ridiculous and untutored remark is borne out of sheer sycophancy, stressing that the current messy state of the nation makes it a child of necessity to call on Nigerians to galvanize towards political revolution to reclaim power and redeem the country from its palpable descent into the abyss.

Eze highlighted that Amaechi have never been rejected by his people under any credible election but rather it was Tinubu and APC that was rejected by the people of Lagos State during the 2023 general elections.

He maintained that the 2027 general elections will not be between Tinubu against any opposition platform but rather it will be the impoverished NIGERIANS occasioned by Tinubu policies that will send him back to Lagos come 2027, Eze reiterated

He went further to state that Amaechi remains undisputedly, one of the few leaders whose integrity is needed at this trying moment of our national life, to bring Nigerians together through a mass movement of patriots who are committed and are ready to see the new Nigeria we all dream, aspire and yearn for, notwithstanding the army of opposition.

Eze who is also an APC Chieftain and one of the leading figures at her formation cautioned the APC and it’s leadership to be bold enough to speak truthfully to the President, that the country is far worse than the Abacha years, even with the monumental oil wealth we have reaped under his watch as head of the federal government. And where in their absurd timidity, they decide to keep mum, they should not turn themselves into Presidential attack-dogs paid to smear the integrity of the efforts of patriots like the former Transportation Minister.

He called on Amaechi to remain focused in his drive to raise consciousness amongst the populace and charged him to redouble efforts to convoke a massive flock of citizens to actively participate in the redemption campaign for our dear country.
