Based on the hesitance of many Christians to take COVID-19 vaccine, a German based Nigerian Prophetess Sister Susan Ikeokwu has urged Christians to yield to the Vaccination.
Delivering her prophetic message entitled ‘ Do I Take the Vaccine”, on her YouTube channel, she advised Christians to take the jab, pointing out that taking the jab does not compromise their Christian faith.
The Prophetess stated that the fear of some Christians was the side effect of the vaccination but assured them that if properly covered with the blood ofJesus Christ and earnest prayers that it will not be of effect.
She contended that even some Christians died through COVID- 19 and except you are destined to die through the vaccination, vaccination will not kill you.
Sister Ikeokwu said the fact that we are alive is the benevolence of God and urged Christians to be prayerful at all times to avert the plans of the devil against their lives.
Her words: ” Do I take the vaccine? This is a question that very many Christians are grappling with. Very many Christians because of their believes do not want to take the vaccine. Not that they do not know that the lord God uses science to help his sons and daughters. But very many of them do not feel comfortable to take this vaccine”.
” It all depend on the level of your faith. There is no shame if you feel the level of your faith is not enough to make you stay without taking the vaccine. If that is your situation, it”s okay, the lord God loves you and he understands you love him”.
” if you want to take or you don’t want to take it? As the children, sons and daughters, followers of the way, those who believe in God Almighty in spirit and in truth, in the finished work of his beloved son, our lord and saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth who died on the cross of Calvary for us,these are the things that you should do”.
” Before you go to take it, you have to put it in prayer because the word of God in Proverbs chapter 3: 5-6 says, trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, submit to him and he will make your path straight”.
” So,you have to put your trust in the lord. Whatever you are doing even taking the vaccine or not taking it, you have to bring it to the lord. You cannot do something like that without going before the lord and enquire of him. You may take a day or two fast. Pray about it and tell the lord, father, I am going to take the vaccine. Don’t just match out to go and do anything without committing it to the lord. In all you do submit to the lord. So, when you pray to him telling him that lord, I am going to take the vaccine. I put my trust in you. These are the the things you promised me, you promised me that no weapon formed against me shall prosper; you promised me that Iam the righteousness of almighty God in Christ Jesus; you promised that even if I come in contact with anything demonic, satanic, foul, unclean, toxic, it shall by no means hurt me, pollute me, alter your original design for me”.
” These are the kind of prayers you should pray before you go. And as you commit it to the lord, the lord honours such things, love, submission, reverence and respect. He knows that you have consulted him and because of that the lord will protect you and oblige to help you. Also, plead the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth on yourself, take communion. Now, you have confidence in God. It is no longer about the vaccine. It is now about Almighty God going to use that foolish thing to help you and then spiritually, it still makes sense. The lord understands you have done everything in your power, respecting him and then the lord will protect you, instead of you just matching forward, not considering the lord, not enquiring from him”.
” The world as it is, our beliefs sometimes go through strong test and sometimes we are not allowed to exercise them just like we want to. So, we have to find other means to still be in our beliefs and respect our God that in everything we do he has the final say. If you have to take the vaccine then that is what you should do”.
“If you don’t want to take the vaccine and there is possibility for you not to take it, you have to make sure that you also pray. Not that you are not taking the vaccine at the same time, you’re not praying, covering yourself with the blood of Jesus. You’re just saying, yes, the lord will protect me when you know that the virus is ravaging everywhere. So, don’t just fold your arms and say I am not going to take the vaccine at the same time you’re not doing that which will protect you”.
“You call yourself Christian but Christian is not just lip service. The people who died who are Christians were not all sinners yet they died from corona virus. So, that is why you have to build your spiritual immune system by prayers. Don’t leave yourself open”.
“If you have no other alternative or where it is now made compulsory for you to take it. One sees that they are putting pressure here and there for people to take it. Just pray and commit yourself to the lord. The enemy is not smarter than God. God has released to us his own weapons and instruments to use against such things, use them by faith”, she advised..
