The hand of a farmer identified as Abdulkarim was reportedly amputated by bandits in Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
It was gathered from sources that the bandits cut his hand after he confronted them.
The incident was said to have occurred last Friday evening while the victim was working on his dry-season farm before he was accosted by the assailants.
Security analyst Bakatsine, who disclosed the incident, narrated, “On Friday evening, armed bandits amputated the hand of a farmer, Abdulkarim and severely injured him in Kubau LGA of Kaduna State.”
“The attackers reportedly found him working on his dry-season farm when they carried out the assault”.
Kubau Local Government Area in Kaduna State has experienced several security incidents in recent years.
When contacted, the Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer Mansir Hassan said the police would investigate the incident, gather additional details, and provide an update as soon as possible.
