The King of Port Harcourt, Victor Woluchem has said that he is certain Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister of Transportation, will not fail the people of Katsina state and Nigeria.
The King stated this while speaking during a courtesy visit to the Emir of Duara,Dr Umar Farouk Umar, at his palace, on Saturday.
He said the the minister can be trusted to be attentive to the interest of the people and won’t betray the trust reposed in him.
” Let me also Support King Alfred Diette-Spiff. I am the King of Port Harcourt and one of the foremost traditional rulers in Ikwerre land. You have touched on Ikwerre son and that is why we are here not just to show support but also gratitude to Katsina state particularly Duara, your palace and to your wisdom. We do know that our son can never fail you and Nigeria. We also know that the title that you have decided to bestow on him is safe where it is . Let me thank you on behalf of Ikwerre people”, he said.
It would be recalled that Rt. Hon. Amaechi was turbaned as Dan Amanar Daura, meaning ‘Trusted Son of Daura on February 5.
