Access gate fees have been suspended at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
In a statement issued on Saturday and signed by the spokesperson of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Dr Obiageli Orah, the agency said the move was to alleviate the traffic burden on airport road users.
It reads, “The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria wishes to inform the general public that all access gates at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International International Airport, Abuja, are suspended to alleviate the traffic burden on our airport road users.
“We deeply empathise with the inconvenience caused by the ongoing construction and remain committed to ensuring a smooth travel experience for all road users.”
